Those of you who know me from the Zone or from ICQ know me as lovedarlin. I REALLY like that name even though it gives some weirdos the wrong idea about me.
I have loved and I have lost, but I have won also. There is something about meeting a man who makes you tingle from the tips of your toes to the ends of the hair on your head. There is nothing else quite like it. A smile from him sets your heart to beating so hard you can't quite catch your breath. Most of the time you can tell from that first moment of acquaintance that this is a special person for you, the chemistry is there.
I have felt this tingle from three men in my life. The first was a very handsome young man who turned out to be a monster, he is no longer a part of my life. The second is my husband and best friend. The third was the only man who has ever turned my head from my husband.
The love for the first turned to pity when I realized that he was not a good person. The love for the second is still there, but circumstances have cooled it for a few moments. The love for the third is still strong and painful to examine. My point here is that love is not a forever emotion. Circumstances sometimes interfere.
If you have loved and lost, try again. That great love that comes along only once in a lifetime may not have arrived for you yet. .
