Have you ever noticed something that is so dumb that you ignore the heck out of it, but if you get caught ignoring it you can get into trouble? Well, here's one.
I live near the Interstate. There is an access road running parallel to it for the 100 miles I know of it. The access road near my home has two lanes (one way) and the speed limit is 55 mph. The limit on the freeway (one way) is 70 mph.
Now here's what bugs me. The exit ramp which leads from the freeway to the access road (about 100 yards) has a speed limit of 35 mph. Maybe I'm a little slow, but I think that is just silly. Or maybe the highway department is really stupid.
